Located in Olde Town, and built after the 1916 fire. Completed in 1920, this stately home was later converted into five spacious apartments in the main house, and six additional apartments occupy what were servants quarters and a detached garage. Original remnants of the Craftsman and Georgian Revival-style architecture include leaded glass windows, arched entryways, and vaulted ceilings. The home was recently purchased by a local investment group and underwent another renovation. Inside, the kitchens and fixtures were updated, while special care was taken to preserve the original charm and architectural detail of the property. Outside, the landscaping and greenery have been revived to reflect original palm-filled grounds in which the property was aptly named The Palms. We hope guests take time to explore the tree-lined streets, local eateries, shops, and galleries of Historic Downtown Augusta. Visitors also enjoy walks along the Savannah River and the numerous festivals and events hosted throughout the year. Please feel free to take the maps or brochures we’ve provided for more details.
